I’m so Thankful

 

During this holiday season, spend some time thinking about what you are thankful for.  Our lives get so busy that sometimes we forget about some of the important things in our lives and what they mean to us.  Use this time… “Thanksgiving” to remember those important things.  I am so thankful that I have a great family and I am also thankful for my health.

Around this time of year, I am most thankful for (although small) my willpower.  I have a unique ability to eat relatively clean during the holidays.  It does help that the Paleo diet with it’s reduced sugar qualities, has made some sugary foods unappetizing.  There are some foods that I just cannot tolerate anymore.  I think I will like them or want them and then I am not able to eat them.  Sometimes the foods are too sweet, but with proccessed foods it seems I can taste the chemicals.  My body is so used to eating whole foods now.

Try to enjoy the holiday season with some limitations this year so all of your hard work towards a healthier and fit you isn’t in vain.  And don’t forget to be thankful along the way.  Start thinking about some of the things you would like to accomplish next year.  Reflect on what you accomplished this year and set some new goals.

Say thank you to anyone who helped you during this year in your fitness journey.
