You are what you eat

A recent Harvard study published in The New England Journal of Medicine confirmed the idea that the quality of your food outweighs the quantity.  What does this mean for you?  The better your food choices, the better your health and the easier it will be for you to get to and maintain a healthy weight.  The study blamed poor food choices for the rise in obesity in America.  There is some good news.  Choosing to eat a “whole foods” diet makes it easier to stay fit and healthy.  Choosing to eat quality meats, vegetables, fruits and nuts rather than processed and “fast’ foods will really make a difference in your overall health.

The food choices we make directly affect our health.   It just makes sense to improve those choices to improve our health.  You are what you eat.  Eat healthy, be healthy.
